KemisKOL Threadlockers
They are classified as anaerobic adhesives used to prevent threaded components exposed to vibrations or mechanical loads from loosening.
Anaerobic adhesives harden when isolated from oxygen and in the presence of metal ions. KemisKOL Threadlockers differ in strength (type of disassembly), temperature range and field of application (size of bolting assembly).
A screw and a nut are among the most classic ways of assembling two machine parts. When such a nut is not subjected to a dynamic load, the joint is not problematic. When vibrations are present, it is necessary to protect the joint against unwinding.
Advantages:
- simple protection;
- the possibility of protecting very different variants of bolting assemblies;
- reduction of the component number, including stocks;
- disassembly is possible, and thus also reassembly;
- the intermediate layer of adhesives prevents corrosion (due to different electropotentials);
