KemisKOL SEALS
They are classified as anaerobic adhesives used to prevent unwinding and sealing, threaded components, flange connections and surface sealing.
Anaerobic adhesives harden when isolated from oxygen and in the presence of metal ions. KemisKOL SEALS differ in purpose, type of disassembly, temperature ranges.
Anaerobic surface seals and pipe seals can be used as a flange joint seals or as a seal when joining pipes with fittings and pipe elements with threads.
Advantages:
- they effectively replace mechanical, classic seals, they are also suitable for demanding seals in a wide temperature and pressure range;
- the application of liquid sealant directly from the tube is simple both for threads and for complex geometric surfaces, and precise processing of the sealing surfaces by abrasion is not required;
- stocks of various mechanical seals are not required;
- subsequent tightening after meshing of the seal is not required (as with most hard seals), and the pipeline can be assembled by hand and without the use of tools;
- tightness does not depend on the tightness of the pipeline element, that is why the assembled joint is always of exact dimensions and in proper position;
- the seal does not clog the pipeline and protects the joint from corrosion as well;
- the seal is flexible and does not yield even under dynamic loads;
- uniform load on all threads.
